Coastal Dune Labs LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) builds professional tools for iOS. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our applications and website.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Data You Provide in Our Apps

Our applications are designed to store your data on your device. When you use our apps, the professional data you enter (such as activity logs, credentials, notes, and attachments) is stored locally on your device using Apple’s on-device storage frameworks. We do not operate servers that receive or store your professional data.

1.2 Subscription and Purchase Data

If you purchase a subscription, payment is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat, a third-party subscription management service, to validate your purchase and manage your subscription status. RevenueCat may collect:

An anonymous app user identifier
Purchase and subscription history (product purchased, transaction dates, subscription status)
Device information (device model, operating system version)

We do not receive or store your name, email address, Apple ID, or payment method details through this process. For more information, see RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy.

1.3 Photos and Attachments

Some of our apps allow you to attach photos or documents to your records. These files are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to any external server.

1.4 Contact Form

If you contact us through our website or an in-app support form, we collect the name, email address, and message you provide. This information is processed through Netlify Forms and is used solely to respond to your inquiry.

1.5 Information We Do Not Collect

We do not use third-party analytics services, advertising frameworks, or cross-app tracking in our applications. We do not request App Tracking Transparency permission because we do not track you.

2. How We Use Information

We use information only for the following purposes:

To provide and maintain app functionality on your device
To manage your subscription status through RevenueCat
To respond to support inquiries you submit through our website

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Information may be shared only in these limited circumstances:

With RevenueCat for subscription management, as described above
With Apple, as required for App Store purchase processing
If required by law, regulation, or legal process

4. Data Storage and Security

By default, your professional data is stored only on your device and protected by your device’s built-in security features, including device passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID. We do not have access to data stored on your device.

Optional iCloud Sync

The app includes an optional iCloud sync feature that you can enable in Settings. This setting is off by default. When you enable iCloud sync, your activity data, profile, and attached supporting documents are stored in Apple’s iCloud servers using CloudKit and synced across devices signed into your Apple ID.

When iCloud sync is enabled:

Your data is stored in your private iCloud database, accessible only to your Apple ID
We do not have access to data stored in your iCloud
Data syncs are managed by Apple and subject to Apple’s privacy and security practices
You can disable sync at any time from the app’s Settings

Subscription data processed by RevenueCat is stored on RevenueCat’s servers in accordance with their security practices and privacy policy.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Because your professional data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it at all times. You can delete individual records within the app or remove all app data by uninstalling the application.

To manage or cancel your subscription, use the subscription management settings on your iPhone: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

Contact form submissions are retained only as long as necessary to resolve your inquiry.

6. Children’s Privacy

Our apps are professional tools designed for working professionals. They are not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of our apps after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
